Yin Yoga
Most popular styles of Yoga are Yang in nature. They emphasize muscular effort and repetition. We also need to learn to relax, be patient, be quiet and focus on the skeleton and its joints. That's were Yin Yoga comes into play, it opens up deep connective tissues and joints, relative to the more superficial Yang tissues of the muscles and skin.
New depths in postures, deeper ranges of motion, or an increased flow of energy may only be achievable by focusing on the deeper tissues of the body.
Yin Yoga is for all ages and fitness levels, beginners to advanced students.
